NCAA: Direct 40+ MW football & basketball broadcasts each season.  Direct NCAA hockey, soccer and volleyball.

Colorado Rockies: Direct Rockies game broadcasts.  Produced daily live 30 minute pregame & postgame shows.

Studio/Control Room Build: Coordinated 5 person team to design and build new control room and studio set.  Manage studio crew.

Rockies Weekly: Produced 26 episode weekly show centered on the Colorado Rockies manager.

Bolder Boulder: Produced 60 minute retrospective on largest international 10K road race in nation.


Decreased costs and improved broadcasts by:

  1.   Remaining under budget on construction and implementation of new control room and set build.

  2.   Revamping Rockies Weekly program format to appeal to a broader audience; doubling ratings from previous year.

  3.   Organizing donation of outdated TV equipment to local schools/universities for station tax write off over 200K.

Video replay during NBA broadcasts. Travelled with Nuggets Broadcast team; organized and archived game footage.


Improved broadcasts by:

  1.     Creating a new way to distribute broadcast elements to increase efficiency and eliminate a single point of failure system.

  2. Establishing new detailed instructions to increase communication to freelance operators and eliminate errors.





SENIOR DIRECTOR:                                                                                              FSN ROCKY MOUNTAIN:   2007 – 2008

Recruited to improve quality and efficiency of studio productions.  Collaborated with FSN corporate office to direct nationally syndicated programming.  Led/scheduled team of directors, technical directors and audio operators.


Projects Include:

Pro Football Preview: Directed nationally syndicated weekly NFL Show with Eddie George, Tim Brown, Jason Sehorn, Jay Glazer.

The Baseball Report: Directed nationally syndicated weekly MLB Show with Charissa Thompson.

FSN Live: Directed live nightly sports program.

Raw Sports: The Musical: Wrote music & lyrics, choreographed sequences, edited 4 “musical numbers” for roll in on final live broadcast.


Decreased costs and improved broadcasts by:

  1.     Developing a new rundown that standardized labeling and successfully eliminated on-air mistakes.

  2.     Revising the existing studio configuration to create a more versatile floor plan and make set transitions easier.

  3.     Redistributing existing staff to create new video supervisor position which increased communication and allowed time to better

         train new editing staff.

  1.     Implementing employee cross training to reduce overtime costs.

  2.     Restructuring/managing the internship program into a detailed 12 week format with competency checkpoints; better training enabled.

         us to use interns as editors instead of hiring freelancers which decreased costs.





PRODUCTION MANAGER:                                                                                                                   CBS 4:   1998 - 2007

Maintained broadcast consistency and branding. Acted as liaison between sales, news and technical departments. Wrote scripts, press releases and website blogs.  Conducted yearly staff reviews and organized team building events.  Directed highest profile shows, such as Super bowl coverage, political debates, etc.


Projects Include:

Colorado Symphony Orchestra Holiday Concert:  Directed live Emmy Award winning broadcast with the CSO, Men’s & Women’s Adult Chorus and Children’s Chorale. Worked with CSO union and concert conductor to devise concert hall logistics.

Bolder Boulder 10K: Executive Producer and Director for Emmy Award winning coverage of Bolder Boulder 10K from 2003-07.  Worked with race officials on schedule and camera placement (19 cameras) on 10K racecourse through streets of Boulder.  Produced rundown and feature stories for 4 hour live broadcast of the world’s 3rd largest 10K road race.       

NFL Broncos Games: Associate Producer for Broncos Preseason Broadcasts.  Coordinated breaks and sponsors;  work with replay ops

National Quarterback Club Awards: Directed live award show to honor top NFL and collegiate QBs across nation.

SHOW with Greg Moody: Produced/Directed weekly 30 minute entertainment program shot on location throughout Colorado.

Colorado Sportswomen: Directed Emmy Award winning quarterly sports show highlighting local female athletes.

Zinger Cycling Challenge: Directed live professional bike race from Boulder to Breckenridge using live camera shots and video shot along course via motorcycle and helicopter. 

Zinger, The Inside Track: Produced 30 minute retrospective on professional bike race through the Colorado Rockies. Created rundown/storyline, wrote scripts, created graphics, worked with post-production editor.        

Broncos Live: Direct weekly 30 minute football analysis show shot live on location.  Site surveyed location/coordinated logistics.


Decreased costs and improved broadcasts by:

  1.     Initiating a new graphics ordering format that eliminated redundancy which increased output.

  2.     Establishing newsroom procedures to increase efficiency, work flow and improve communication.

  3.     Turning unproductive time between broadcasts into support for developing website by revising schedule & training directors to post        text/video to the web.
